VI of the Performance Biennial - Perforartnet, Santa Fé Concordia Gallery

This month is the VI version of the Performance Biennial - perforartnet opened the new Santafé Concordia Gallery in Bogotá with a collective exhibition that brings together artists' actions under the framework of the Social, Political and Critical Corps. Within this I expose Metraprotesta, a protest for the non-existent protests made a few years ago. In the action I repeat the word Protest with a sticky melody - and overwhelming - so that in the end the spectator leaves the room wanting to protest.

Conversation, Sacudir la Tierra in Valenzuela Klenner

Due to its capital character, internal conflict and the Venezuelan migration crisis, Bogotá has always been the recipient of various migrations. With 7,671,124 Colombians in forced displacement and 3,400,000 Venezuelans in Colombia according to the UNHCR (the UN refugee agency), migration must be an issue that does not go unnoticed. Starting from a context full of information and misinformation, we are interested in bringing points of view of people who have experienced first-hand migration or who from their discipline can enrich the discussion. So we will meet (in the framework of the exhibition Sacudir la Tierra in Valenzuela Klenner this Wednesday from 5pm) Carolina Sanz, Venezuelan curator and with several artists from diverse backgrounds who currently reside in Bogotá to talk about all this and see where we Take the discussion. Mata Planta will bring viche and if we have luck, there will also be hallacas.

We wait for you tomorrow-Wednesday 27, from 5 p.m. at Valenzuela Klenner Gallery

LowTech OnLine ONLY from Nowhere and EveryWhere

Reflecting #relationship with the #rivers, now Bogota channels, and acting against the fact that we literally turn our backs on them, the action consists of turning one of the benches that is located next to the Archbishop River.

The #action is a simple gesture that seeks to generate a space in a prolonged manner so that any passer-by can give more attention to the Archbishop River and with this perhaps give greater relevance to the rivers of our city. Daniela Medina Poch and Juan Pablo García Sossa
