Embodied Climate Agency (ECA) is a social justice platform and network that gathers first-person testimonies from people directly experiencing climate phenomena. Through their lived experiences, the project generates situated knowledge that challenges dominant, homogeneous climate discourses and generously shares post-extractive visions and manifestations of regeneration and re-existence. ECA works with climate witnesses, a term chosen instead of climate refugees, across diverse ecosystems and territories within what is known as Bolivia, Kazakhstan, Tanzania, Paraguay, Colombia, the Philippines, Taiwan, and La Palma. Their stories address volcanoes, cyclones, droughts, deforestation, hydroelectric impacts, and more.

Currently, in collaboration with Colombian musician Edgar Marún, the project translates interviews into songs that shape the album Climate Songs for the Supermarket, which will be played in everyday locations such as local convenience stores, supermarkets, or bars. The project explores how climate knowledge can circulate beyond rational understanding—through emotions, instincts, bodies, and rhythms, and into, hopefully, collective and distributed climatic agencies.

Emotional Climate Agency – Climate Witness Radio includes contributions by Abdulmazhitova Aisuluu, Abdulmazhitova Aziz, Ching Y U, Erwin Torio, Esteiman Dario, Esther Aragón, Felipe Medina, José Eduardo Sánchez Díaz, Juliana Andrea Albarracín Silva, Khristen Quiambao, Leo Baraka, Marilyn Cruz and Paula García.
